CORE Data Utilisation Training

CORE Data Utilisation Training is for you if you are using CORE PC or CORE Net and want to make the most of your data for service review and development.

How confident are you in the quality of your data?
Do you explore your service data using CORE reports and if so do you understand what this is telling you about the quality of your data and your service?
Have you tried to benchmark your service against others to get a sense of your relative performance?
Have you explored the relative contributions of individual therapists to your service performance?
Does each of your therapist team have a sense of their contribution?

If your answer to any of these questions is "No" our unique data review training can help you gain the confidence and skills you need to be able to get the most out of your valuable data, whether this is for internal audit and evaluation or to gain external funding or business.

Our Data Utilisation Training typically comprises 3 modules:

Module 1: Data quality/completeness review, understanding client journeys through the therapy process, production of client journey profile map, outline diagnostics and recommendations.
Module 2: Benchmarking service key performance indicators, exploring (as appropriate) inter-site variance, exploring KPI's in the context of service processes, using data to report on service quality, diagnostics and recommendations.
Module 3: Introduction to the appraisal function, benchmarking internal (inter-therapist) performance, exploring and understanding therapist differences, and using data in supervision and appraisal.

Data Utilisation Training can be offered either on-site or on-line.

On-site workshops offer the advantage of being able to explore your data in considerable depth and for service managers to be able to involve the whole team, thus increasing commitment and motivation. They typically last five hours and can cover all 3 modules outlined above, depending on service needs. We will also try to ensure that any service specific needs are met.

On-line workshops cover each module in one hour of training and are suitable for up to two people. on-line training is live and fully interactive using your own data and can be delivered at a time to suit you, without you having to leave your desk. All you need to take part is broadband internet access and a telephone. Sessions will be spaced, typically weekly, to allow you time to digest and apply what was covered, before moving on to the next step.
